Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout the trip. You’ll immediately be immersed in the lively atmosphere of the Malagasy capital. After being transferred to your hotel, you’ll have time to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 : Antananarivo – Manandona (205 km, 4h30)

The day begins with a visit to local initiatives, including a sheet metal workshop created to help the less fortunate. You will then drive along National Route 7, passing through terraced rice fields and typical villages. In Antsirabe, you will be welcomed by the MATOR association, where authentic exchanges with the local community await you.

Day 3: Immersion in Manandona

This day is dedicated to a deeper exploration of the village and its daily life. Your local guide will introduce you to the village’s agricultural activities and traditions. Day 4 : Manandona – Ambositra (250 km, 6h30)

Day 5 : Ambositra – Ranomafana (135 km, 5h)

Your journey continues towards Ranomafana, with stops to admire the terraced rice fields and lush landscapes along the way.

Day 6 : Ranomafana – Fianarantsoa (75 km, 2h)

After a morning in the park, renowned for its exceptional biodiversity—lemurs, endemic birds, and rare plants—you will explore its trails and observe the local fauna and flora.

Next, you will head to Fianarantsoa, where you will visit the Vozama NGO site, which supports educational and community projects.

Day 7 : Journée à Fianarantsoa

This day is dedicated to discovering the projects of the Vozama NGO and other local initiatives, such as the Le Relais factory. These visits highlight concrete actions for sustainable development.

Day 8 : Fianarantsoa – Ranohira (295 km, 6h)

You leave the highlands to discover the arid landscapes of the South. A stop at the Anja Reserve will allow you to observe the Maki Catta lemurs. In the late afternoon, you will reach Ranohira, the gateway to Isalo National Park.
